V. Rev. Dr. Stephen De Young
Priest, Archangel Gabriel Church
Fr. Stephen De Young was born in Redlands, California. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts from the University of Balamand, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Amridge University. He and his wife Kh. Tricia were married in 2008, and he was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in January 2009 by His Grace, Bishop THOMAS. For eight years, Fr. Stephen served at St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Charleston, West Virginia before his assignment as priest at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church in Lafayette, LA in July 2017. His parish Bible study is broadcast by Ancient Faith as the Whole Counsel of God podcast. He is the author of the associated Whole Counsel Blog.
